Central Park is the largest park in Plymouth. It was originally created in 1928 as a park devoted to the improvement of the health of city residents. Wide boulevards go through the park's open meadows and woodlands, up and down hills with fantastic views over the city towards Plymouth Sound and Cornwall.
Central Park is the traditional home of the annual circus visit to Plymouth and is situated right next to the Life Centre. This September the stunning Circus Extreme Big Top comes to Plymouth from September 5th.
There is a large Council car park called the 'Milehouse Park & Ride Car Park' situated just a 3 minute walk from the Circus Big Top and has ample parking for all circus customers. Please Note: This can be busy to matchdays if Plymouth Argyle FC are playing.
